Used In The Research And Implementation Of Embedded Operating System For Handheld Terminals

1. Introduces the research backgroud of the paper, i.e. the development of thechnique of Handheld terminal. Based on the need of R&D of Handheld terminal, the emphasis and direction of the research are pointed out.2. The concepts of Embedded system are also introduced. What is ES and how to do ES are given in details. And then the realizing of the Handheld terminal is introduced. The hardware is given in details.3. The real-time kernel of uC/OS-II ,which is a kind of real time operating system,is introduced. First the concepts are introduced, then through analysis and research of source codes of uC/OS-II ,the kernel are known well, and the research plan is given based on ARM processor.4. The research of I/O part is introduce, and several i/o devices are disscussed in details, to every device , we will their realization based on uC/OS-II.5. The file system uCFS is also discussed. First the principles of file system is discussed. Then the details of how to do uCFS are introduced ,mainly about based-on Nand Flash and SDRAM.6. Finally the whole work is summed, the disadvantages and the further problem are pointed out. And the further research emphasis is GUI.
