Digital converter test-equipment is a special ground test equipment for the digitalconveter of remote test system, which can debug and test digital converter by simulating therunning status parameters of digital converter. It is a integrative test equipment whichintergrates the function of siginal generation,detection and data analysis. The automated testduring the production, application and maintenance of digital conveter has been realized,besides, it will improve the level of production and maintenance of digital conveter, reducethe costs of production and experiment.After analyzing the technical requirements of the digital converter, the paper determinesthe program of the design: an embedded SOPC system design based on FPGA. The papergives an in-depth analysis for the design from the handware to software, in the part of thehardware design, on the basis of introducing the overall structure, this paper analyzs therealization of the components detailedly. In the part of software design, describes the top-levelarthitecture firstly, and then analyzs the function, working principle and realzation of themodules in the framework.As the paper says, the SOPC technology has been used in ground test systemsuccessfully. It replaces the methed of using a signal FPGA as the central processer with SCMand FPGA, which reduces the system cost, simplifies the design. The introducing of NiosⅡprocesser core and C language, makes the sofeware design more flexible.After a joint trial with the digital converter, it confirmed that the test-equipment cancomplete the duty of preformance testing for digital converter, meet the technicalrequirements of the test-equipment.
