Research And Implementation Of Network Information Management System

During the 1990s, with the rapid development of electronic information technology, more and more high-tech electronic products emerge at the right moment, and rapidly become indispensable partners of Human. The development of Information Management & Information System Specialty became the primary goal for our national education system。This Specialty mainly cultivates person who knows both economic management and communication technology, grasps the theory and method of modern information technology, and has strong ability of computer applications and analysis & design for Management Information Systems.As different categories, including management, information processing, computer and office network applications, e-commerce, communication, and so on, are involved, national administrative departments at different levels, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institution, research units, and other departments engaged in information management and information systems analysis, design, implementation & management and evaluation, are seeking a management mode which is scientific, reasonable and convenient. This paper is just based on the mentioned great demand and established in the basic network management protocol; fusing the mutual links such as XML, and so on and using WEB or client as the upper application interface, the management of communication equipment is easily accomplished.This paper first studied some key techniques thoses can be applied to current Network Information Management System, such as SNMP, TRAP and SYSLOG, etc. And then analyzed the sufficiency and necessity of the existence of the network information management system:the existence of a large number of objective equipments require directors must possess management means in order to make sure the system is able to be in charged of. Based on above researches, analysis has been finished with taking the user’s demand into account, and then the design of the network information management system is described in detail with presenting frameworks of three levels. Among different components of the system, standard affairs and application protocol are also designed to handle the message flow, such as the general protocols of XML and FTP. In order to achieve the system standardization, the setup environment and configuration are also be analyzed in detail. Finally, a network information management system is realized with C/S and B/S modes and then optimized and summarized according to the test results.The research results in this paper has already been applied to the Data Network Management System of China Mobile with realizing the real-time management of the equipment network information and the record, alarm, control and processing of events. Test results show that this system is reliable, easy to use, easy to maintain and easy to transplant. It can carry out the network equipment information management quickly on TCP/IP networks and has accomplished the standardization.
