The media of film and video is not only the product of human’physical activities and spiritual activities, but also is the carrier of human’ activities and spiritual consciousness. On the one hand, it recacts human being; on the other hand, human also take it as a mirror to scan and concern ourselves. The human race is the unity of spirit and body, as the origin of lives and the carrier of soul, the body is the important target which is cared and explored by people ever since a long time ago,so the media of film and video which reacts human being certainly will care and present bodies. The body culture in the media of film and video maybe is the visual expressions of the acknowledge on the bodies in our minds, maybe is the record and introspection of changes about ethics and notion on the bodies, and the mass audience through the various kinds of mirror images on bodies to compare and concern themselves, and then change their minds about bodies. Moreover the attitudes and thoughts of the whole society about bodies will be influenced.As a result, researching the body culture in the media of film and video not only is the exploration to the origin of human beings; but also is the respect and care to the essence of life. Firstly, through a macroscopic inspection to the mirror images on the film and video, such as movie and TV drama, advertisement,the article considers that there are three kinds of encode modes on body culture in the media of film and video, they are body’s ethics, body’s politic and body’s aesthetics. Secondly, with the specific text as the object of study, the article analyzed the profound meaning and intrinsic regularities of each encode mode. Last, the article concluded the functions of reaction and expression of media and the ideological attribute of media.
