Image-based three-dimensional body size extracting technology is an emerging body measurement technology.The technology can quickly and precisely extract the user's body size information and data,establish a comprehensive database of human body.It is widely used in personalized clothing and in the establishment of human body model.In terms of the shortcomings of the current technology on the image-based three-dimensional body size information extracting technology including the human body edge extracting algorithm,human's dimensions information extracting step,and the environment of the input of customer's images, this thesis conducts the following work:(1) After analyzing the existing image-based three-dimensional body size information extracting technology,this thesis designs a complete set of human dimensions information extracting method,and implements it in the corresponding software system.(2) For the various deficiencies in the traditional method of the edge extracting algorithm on the human body image(noise,false edges,light intensity,complex background,etc),this thesis designs an optimized edge extracting method based on human body edge extracting algorithm.To solve the deficiencies such as noise,false edges,and light intensity,this thesis optimizes the Canny operator on the computation of the gradient magnitude and direction,the controlling of the non-maximum value,and the operation of the dual-threshold extraction.After the operation of the optimized algorithm,this thesis uses a mathematical morphology method to outline the human body edge from the complex background image.Then,the extracted edge from the frontal body image and the extracted edge from the side body image meet the requirements of the human body information processing.(3) A body size extracting method is designed.By the body size information table,the method extracts the body edge information according to the user's frontal body image and side body image.The key steps of the method include searching of the key points of the human edge, the unit conversion of the edge point location measurement,and the submission of the final extraction information.This thesis verifies the body size extract method by the considerable number of the mannequins(30 students).(4) This thesis designs a single camera mirror system to solve the problems such as inaccurate shooting,inconsistent angles of shooting,and desynchronized time of shooting.This thesis also builds a small mirror system for testing.Experiments show that the system combined with the mirror system can accurately and simultaneously get the images of the frontal body and the side body.It can improve the efficiency of the whole three-dimensional body size information extracting system.
