So far, more and more people began to study chaos theory, and chaos and secure communication up, so become a research focus of today’s society, through continuous research found that the chaotic secure communication has very great practical value. Chaos theory can be used as an encryption key, because it itself is a sport without rules, and its trajectory is not with any certainty, it is random, which makes it inherently has a hidden of information.At present, our laboratory for the chaotic secure communication system encrypted voice encryption and image of these two aspects, the appropriate hardware platform FPGA, DSP and ARM. Through the use of FPGA hardware design platform of own design, and hardware and software collaboration technology dimensional cat maps applied to image encryption, and ultimately through the LCD display. Results achieved by the hardware, you can help promote chaotic cat maps the application of the algorithm in practice.The main contents are as follows:(1) In accordance with the basic concepts of chaotic cat maps, the use of cat map for image encryption, the cat map linked with the digital image pixel value of location, location scrambling to achieve the effect of encryption.(2) Hardware platform, did not go to the laboratory’s existing hardware development platform, instead of using the FPGA hardware design and development platform, the use of Altera Corporation’s core chip, this system is relatively simple, and has multiple10expansion port, to facilitate the implementation and development of other features; Software implementation is the use of hardware description language Verilog HDL, mainly to prepare the display interface functions and related algorithms.(3) Now more commonly used in FPGA hardware and software co-design technology to develop, which makes the rational allocation of greatly facilitate the design of hardware and software, development hardware platform used by its own development and design considerations in the design of greatly increased be considered the beginning of the design of the hardware platform design costs, so in the end in the realization of the process, making the system of higher resource utilization, the clock frequency to meet the actual requirements, but also shorten the development cycle.Two-dimensional cat map theory is applied to the image, its cryptographic operations, configurable FPGA hardware platform designed to control the LCD display, and will eventually be encrypted image display to achieve. Direct control of the show, not after the transfer, making the decrypted image is lossless. The encrypted image showing the snow punctate allows the attacker can not directly see the outline of the law of its image characteristics come out.
