With the continuous development of the network technology, much higherrequirement is put forward for broadband. At present, people have made much effort toachieve high-efficiency network, for example, the fiber with huge bandwidth resource wasconfirmed in the laboratory, along with various multiplexing techniques are used, whichrequires a network node to exchange and process higher. However, one of the mostimportant reasons is the speed of the network being limited by the existing routingtechnology in a photoelectric hybrid transition phase. In order to make the above twotechniques develop coordinately, the "electronic bottleneck" must be avoided, and muchhigher requirement is raised to meet the exchange processing ability of network node.Firstly,WDM/OCDM/MPLS technologies are introduced, and a new routingtechnique is researched by the combination of advantage about the several technologies inthis paper. The payload and label are encoded separately by using two different code wordsabout the technology, so the routing information can overlap. The label depends on twofactors, including the wavelength and the codeword, thus, three layers swapping on theoptical fiber, wavelength and the code will be established about the light signal. In thesystem, the larger throughput and multi-granularity routing switching can be realized by thecombination of Space Division Multiplexing, Wavelength Division Multiplexing and CodeDivision Multiplexing.Secondly, OCDM switching about three layers routing technology withmulti-granularity and processing in parallel is discussed particularly and encoding anddecoding of payload and label are designed by adopting FBGs technology. In the swappingprocess, the payload signal can be overlapped coming different fiber and OCDM channel inthe same wavelength. In addition, the polarity separator is used to separate the label fromthe optical signal in a separate encoding and decoding method. In the core router, only theshort label is processed, so as to increase its processing speed enormously. Theimplementation of the technology will not only solve network blocking, but also meetpeoples’multi-media information needs. Lastly, the software OptiSystem is used to simulate the system in this paper, and theperformance is analyzed according to the eye diagram, Q factor, the threshold value andthe bit error rate. The routing system is composed of 8 paths, and each of them is dividedinto 8 wavelength channels, being provided by 8 OCDM code words in each channel. Theprocessing speed in every OCDM-path is 1.25 Gbit/s, so the throughout up to 640Gbit/s isachieved. From the simulation results, we can know that a label can be separated from theoptical signal perfectly by using a parallel processing, and performance of the system isgood. In the end, the variation trend of the above factors are compared and analyzed ondifferent optical power. As a result, the feasibility of the scheme is proved, and it willmake some contribution to the future all-optical network.
