With the rapid developing of Internet network and multimedia services, intelligence is needed besides the width and the rate of backup. And the equipments are being more and more efficient. The traditional optical network couldn't be satisfied. So the multi-granularity optical network comes.This thesis firstly introduces some key technologies of multi-granularity optical network.There are two basic structures of multi-granularity node structure and gives some analysis of the performances. Signaling technology and network management are also two important parts of the multi-granularity technology.This thesis introduces five functions of network management and introduces the characteristic multi-granularity optical network management technology. It alse describes a signaling technology scheme in this thesis.This thesis fouces on the designing and realization of NCP and ODU/OMU board of the multi-granularity optical network.The main context of this thesis is introducing the designing of the two boards, compartmentalizing each function block, layouting every hardware-board and finally building the entire system test bench.In developing of NCP and ODU/OMU boards, many difficulties in hardware and software occurred. With the solving of the difficulties, much experiences in hardware and driver software was accumulated. This thesis provides the summing-up hardware and software structure of two boards. In the hardware developing, it's focused on some crucial circuit component such as clock, reset circuit,and the important structures of two boards.Besides,there is a detailed description about the typical debug...
