The rapid growth of business traffic is driving the development of optical transmission network technology,the popularity of broadband services make optical fiber communications get further development,and it also requires a larger scale optical cross-connect(OXC).In the traditional switching technology,the structure of OXC becomes more and more complicated with the increase of the number of optical fibers and the number of wavelengths.This paper studies multi-granularity optical switching,it can provide a variety of particle size for exchanging,and it can effectively solve the limitations of the cross connection structure and the unfavorable factors.At the same time,in order to overcome the limitation of wavelength continuity,the optical code granularity is introduced,and the optical code path of the same path is bundled to form the code grouped routing entity.So this paper will study of multi-granularity switching technology based on the code grouped routing,the specific content as follows:First of all,this paper introduces the development of multi-granularity optical switching technology,including traditional multi-granularity switching technology,band switching technology and code-division multi-granularity switching technology,focusing on the advantages of multi-granularity switching technology.Secondly,the multi-granularity switching technology is analyzed and studied in detail.There are the node structures of multi-granularity optical switching,the wavelength division multiplexing technology and code division multiplexing technology in the multi-granularity optical switching and routing resource allocation.Then this paper study the code grouped routing,analyze the code grouped routing network,the implementation of code grouped routing and code grouped routing based on PCE.The code used in code grouped routing is analyzed and compared,and the routing method in code group routing is illustrated.Finally,the system of code grouped routing and multi-granularity optical switching technology is analyzed and introduced by MATLAB simulation software.Including the bit error rate of the address code,compared with the optical code division multiplexing path exchange in the packet loss rate,analyzed blocking rate of the network,throughput performance,thus verifying the performance of multi-granularity optical switching networks based on code grouped routing.
