Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging system carried by aerial vehicle receivedwidely applications in civil and military such as disaster relief and monitoring,surveying and mapping, military reconnaissance and battlefield surveillance. Limited tosize and loading capacity of UAV, a high-density and high-speed storage system isneeded to record the massive data in real-time.This article focuses on research and implementation of a kind of high-density andhigh speed storage board using NAND Flash. The board could record, playback, importor export data and realized simple file management. The design set MicroBlazeembedded processor as the main controller and implemented NAND Flash arraycontroller and PCIe controller in FPGA. NAND Flash array controller, integrated ECCmodule and bad block management module, can reset, read, erase and program theFlash array. PCIe controller based on the PCIe integrated Endpoint hard core realizedPIO and BMD data transfers and interrupt handling function.The results of experiments show that the storage system implemented in this paperhas advantages of high density, high speed, reliable performance which can be realizedeasily and has better operability and practicality.
