Embedded system has developed dramatically because it integrates the technology of computer,integrated circuit, digital communication and so on. It adapt to the requirement of intelligentinstrument and control equipment which needs to be miniaturization, low power dissipation and highperformance.The thesis rightly got the point, the water flow measurement and control device was designedand developed based on ARM. The research of this system is to provide a control device fordifference temperature of inlet/outlet water to meet the experimental requirements according tonational standard GB25034-2010gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilers, this device can alsodo the field calibration experiment for the water flow sensor of the performance test system ofgas-fired heating and hot water combi-boilersThe design of this device develops the application program based on the embeddedmicroprocessor S3C2440A with the cpu of ARM920T and the embedded Linux operating system. Thewater flow measurement and control device was developed in the manner of block-based design. Ithas the function of embedded control, data acquisition and processing and with a friendlyHuman-Computer Interaction environment. The major task of hardware design includes the peripheralcircuit of S3C2440A, the data acquisition circuit, the circuit for output control signal, thehuman-computer interface circuit and so on, the anti-jamming performance is also analysised. Themajor task of software design includes the transplantation of the Linux operating system and the filesystem, the programming of device drivers, the design of graphical interface control program whichsupports the function of touch screen by using the graphical development tools Qt Embedded, andalso the software realization of fuzzy-pid control.Embedded technology, test technology and intelligent control technology are combined andapplied to designing and developing the measurement and control device. According to experimentresults, the device has high accuracy and reliability.
