Since the1990s, China began to embark on the rural school layout adjustment work. After the layout adjustment, rural school conditions and teaching quality is improved. However, with the rural school layout adjustment, its problems are also increasingly prominent. It is produced a certain effect on rural cultural heritage. Village culture is created and gradually formed by rural residents in long-term production and life, it is a link between the countryside and also played a statute of villagers behavior and the relationship between the villagers.This study, S Central School of P County as a case, mainly uses the fieldwork method and interview method. Through the collection of relevant literature, research papers and reports and so on, I sort out the school layout adjustment and rural culture. Investigation on the P county school layout adjustment, and the S center point from the surface, from the shallower to the deeper investigation, interviews with principals, teachers and students to understand their ideas and attitudes about the school layout adjustment and rural cultural inheritance, etc. In addition, also interview the villager to understand their ideas about the school layout adjustment and the cultural interactions between villages and schools, etc.Based on the investigation, found that rural school layout adjustment forced rural cultural heritage have played some difficulties, mainly displays in:Weakening function of households and communities to heritage rural culture to students; Absence of schools in the rural culture construction; Rural culture hard to stand up in the rural education; Exacerbating the alienation of the school and rural life. On this basis, the author tries to put forward the path of the rural cultural heritage under the background of the school layout adjustment:Appropriate to retain the rural schools; Rural boarding schools to tap education resources of the rural culture; Rural schools to strengthen the communication and interaction with family and community; Teacher Training should strengthen teachers cultivate love for rural knowledge; Rural schools care of dual purpose of education.
