A Study On Internationalization Of Minzu Universities In China

The internationalization of higher education is the tendency and demand of its development in the21st century, it is the historical responsibility of the university’s own development and practice worldwide. It is not an end in itself, but a path or means to achieve a purpose, and it shows the characteristics of accelerating and deepening of the development. In this historical background, all universities are looking for an international development path with its own characteristics, autonomy and innovation. Only by seizing opportunities, reforming and innovating constantly, can Minzu University face fierce international competitions and challenges.As the characteristics of Chinese higher education system and due to its own special background and special value, Minzu universities will face with important challenges and opportunities of the new era of change development. From relevant literature both at home and abroad, the study on internationalization of Minzu universities is rare, so it is worth exploring. This paper argues that Minzu universities involved in the internationalization of higher education is the need of the modernization of education, promotion of the development of our nation and the cause of national education and the cultivation of national creative talents with international literacy.In this study, the author uses Literature method, comparative law, systematical analysis method. The article is composed of five parts.The first part is introduction. Through analyzing the reason and meaning of choosing this topic, integrating the literature reviews, the research space, research contents and methodology are reached.Then come to the second part. In this part, the author gives the outline of the internationalization of higher education, including its definition, content, characteristics, developing tendency and explanation of related conceptions.The third part is the background and significance of internationalization of Minzu universities in China. A brief overview of the development of Minzu universities, the international background and domestic conditions and the importance of internationalization of Minzu universities will be elaborated. The fourth part is about the trace, achievements and problems of internation-alization of Minzu universities, which will be discussed in detail in two aspects:the achievements and problems.In the fifth part, the author will analyze the solutions to the problems of Minzu universities’internationalization. It is hoped that the solutions would be helpful for their development.
