Academics transform with the times.The world is undergoing changes that have not been seen in a century,and China is experiencing a new era of building a strong socialist country in a comprehensive manner.Under the new development concept,new changes are taking place in economic construction,social development and scientific and technological innovation,which inevitably requires an urgent shift in thinking in the field of education,focusing on the issue of high-quality development of education.Min Zu higher education is both an integral part of China's higher education and the part that needs to be strengthened the most to achieve the building of a strong education nation.colleges and universities for Min Zu are not only an initiative of the Party and the State to solve the domestic ethnic problems,but also the core strength of Min Zu higher education.Therefore,achieving quality development of colleges and universities for Min Zu has become an important issue that needs to be studied urgently.Although the variables affecting the quality development of colleges and universities for Min Zu are numerous and mostly difficult to quantify,discipline development is always the core variable and the key.This paper firstly tests the validity of the research hypothesis by statistical analysis and establishing a mathematical model based on the number of National Social Science Foundation(NSSF)projects,and empirically proves that there is a positive correlation between Attribute characteristics of the discipline and the number of NSSF projects,i.e.the more NSSF projects the discipline undertakes,the higher the level of the discipline.Secondly,we studied the comparison strengths and relative weaknesses of each of the13 colleges and universities for Min Zu in the process of discipline construction,based on the actual situation of the institutions and the needs of economic and social development,the strengths and weaknesses of the 13 3 colleges and universities for Min Zu that need to continue to consolidate and enhance,and the relative weaknesses that need to be strengthened and improved.Finally,the thesis proposes five major countermeasures and suggestions,including developing diversified disciplines to meet the needs of society;consolidating advantageous disciplines by combining our own resources;building the university's brand and shaping special disciplines;seizing the opportunity of the times to improve disadvantaged disciplines;and following the trend of the times to focus on emerging disciplines.The thesis aims at the frontier of knowledge integration,which is conducive to the construction of the "new liberal arts" in ethnic colleges.This study will provide new perspectives,new ideas and new solutions for the development of disciplines in colleges and universities for Min Zu,so as to achieve high-quality development of colleges and universities for Min Zu and make greater contributions to the development of Min Zu groups,Min Zu regions and even national social and economic development.
