ObjectiveTo investigate the surgical in-patients with disease control over their own healtheducation, nursing knowledge related health education content and staff to grasp missionability, and further establish a reasonable, standardized, scientific surgical in-patients withhealth education system and evaluation system, beneficial to the development of highquality care service.MethodsThis research is divided into two parts: a selected the surgical in-patients as studyobjects who delivery in two a three level of first-class hospital in Shandong provinceduring September,2010to December,2011. There are two gland surgery, hepatobiliarySurgery, Gallbladder Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Vascular Surgery, cardiac Surgery,Orthopaedic inpatients with a total of400, according to the unified diseases hospital fordepartment, were randomly divided into trial group and control group all200cases, theobservation group the issuance of questionnaires, knowing the health education content thedemand of disease degree, in conventional health education foundation, after theassessment of the nursing staff training in demand for health education content. Beforedischarge, once again, to the observation group survey analysis concluded. The controlgroup the issuance of questionnaires, understand the health education needs degree,routine health mission. Compare two sets of health education before discharge masterdegree. Two: Randomly selected from two hospitals of two gland surgery, hepatobiliarySurgery, Gallbladder Surgery, Gastro-intestinal Surgery, Vascular Surgery, cardiac Surgery,Orthopaedic Surgery work nursing staff total400, of3months time training andassessment, assessment of ward patients through namely after implementation of science,system, regular health education work. Through the questionnaire survey, it conductedquestionnaire content including: general data, health education needs attempters patients,nursing master health education content scale, health education assessment scale to patients and nurses were the social demographic data, health education needs degree, social support,master health education related content and communication skills, evaluation, etc. All datainto the computer, using SPSS17.0statistical software X±S, t-test, Pearson correlationanalysis and variance analysis.Results1. The surgery of hospitalized patients with health education situation: for inpreoperative preparation, get support and comfort, postoperative recovery, understandingof the disease and use information, demand, the hospital environment needs;53%of thepatients who choose the health education mode is issued publicity manual, centralismteaching and individual education;60%of the patients who think appropriate healtheducation implementation time for any time in hospital;65%of the patients who choose todoctors and35%permissible choice nursing staff;68%of the patients who are willing totake part in the health education lecture ward organization.2. In this study, do not meet the criteria for the surgical nursing staff in8cases, no notpassed the examination. One investigation shows that different sex, different age groupsand different length of service, different titles the nursing health education abilitydifference was statistically significant (P<0.05), different degree levels of nursing staffhealth education ability difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).3. The observation group and control group health education demand prior toadmission health education degree and evaluation situation was not statistically significantdifference (P>0.05). Through the observation group pointed to the implementation ofhealth education, the effect is much better than control group, the difference wasstatistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion1. The research investigation shows that surgery of hospitalized patients with familymembers, the number of occupation, culture and health education degree, income todemand the influence.2. Nursing staff to win surgery patients in hospital trust, should be continuouslyimprove their professional qualities, and have good psychological quality, thecomprehensive knowledge and the technical skill, the appropriate communication skills,pay great attention to the surgery patients in hospital psychological nursing, implementcomprehensive care, carries out the health education.3. Practice directive health education obvious effect is better than conventional healtheducation, according to the different needs of the surgical hospitalized patients chinaccm.com offer degree of knowledge, and make the health education work has moreeffectiveness, health education effectiveness evaluation should be prominent to patients asthe center, the nursing staff job evaluation into patients received health educationknowledge to the practical effect evaluation. Health education evaluation system in ourcountry’s health education aspects belongs to the weak link, and a set of evaluation system,be helpful for health education in our country, so as to provide high quality nursing serviceto lay the foundation.
