BackgroundSince 1993, national implementation of nurse practitioners access management system, it has been greatly promoted the development of nursing education and reform. However, as a secondary care educator, how to change the teaching concepts, adjust teaching-model, reform the teaching content, explore new teaching methods, and combine the school education and practice requirements of standards, so that it can make more students successfully pass the exams. It is a serious problem that the teachers of the secondary spcialized schools need to consider to give a bright way for students to work after graduation.ObjectiveBy analyzing the passing rate of nursing qualification exam for one time of students who are from one of secondary specialized schools in Grade 2006, to find the gap between the training model for present vocational nursing major and curriculum system and the need of the society. We reform the curriculum system, curriculum, teaching methods, and test mode, to enhance the coordination between the school education and the nursing qualifications examination. By comparing the passing rates of nursing qualifications at one time for 487 general secondary specialized students in Grade 2006 and 2007, we verify the feasibility of the teaching reform, put forward the reform proposals related to curriculum, reasonable arrangements for teaching, to maximally link the school education and the nursing qualification exam.MethodsObject of the study: To select 583 students of Changchun No.2 secondary specialized school in Grade 2006 and 487 students in Grade 2007.As the research objects. They are all graduated from the middle school and they are three-year ,full-time students.Content of the study: By studying the bibliography and experts'advice on the reform in our national nursing qualification, analyzing the necessary that the teaching must be linked to the nursing qualification exam. By analyzing the low pass rate in Grade 2006 and the gap of the training mode and the social requirement, we put out the reasonable advice on the teaching reform. According to the adjustment of the exam content of the nursing qualification, we make the new the teaching plan and content to improve the teaching quality. By comparing the passing rates of nursing qualifications at one time in Grade 2006 and 2007, we analyze the difference between before and after the reform, and verify the feasibility of the teaching reform. It is a theory foundation for building the training and curriculum.ResultBy comparing the pass rates of nursing students in a one-time nurse practitioner examin Grade 2006 and Grade 2007, we can get the following conclusions.1. On Personnel Training Mode, by researching the market completely, based on the accurate positioning of the professional, we determine the training objectives.2. On Curriculum, to break the existing structure of the curriculum framework, according to the position requirement, we should introduce the nursing professional qualification standards, and reconstruct the curriculum and teaching content.3. On Proposals for the reform of teaching content, the content of teaching must be closely linked the "target" requirement, based on need and focus.4. On teaching methods, in the teaching process, focusing on students' comprehensive abilities, we should use the diverse teaching methods and promote students to think and solve problems so that more students will learn the theory with practice.5. On Appraisal, in the school-enterprise cooperation, based on the theory and practice of building an effective quality evaluation system, we should combine the theoretical knowledge and clinical practice and to improve the pass rates of the nurse licensing examination.6. On Carry out training and exam simulation test, to play a simulated combat role in helping students to find the gap, do nurse practitioners exam preparation.7. On Enhance the Teacher-team building, to build a "Double-qualified" teaching team, improve the teaching quality, ensure that the nursing professional talent training will be taken into practice successfully.
