Observation Of Influence On The Vertebrobasilar Artery Hemodynamics By Acupuncturing YiNao Formula And Xuanzhong Acupoints On The Cervical Vertigo Patients

Objective: This study is to observe the influence to the vertebral-basilar arteryhemodynamics according to TCD by acupuncturing Baihui FengFu（YiNao Formula） andXuanzhong points in patients with cervical vertigo,by contrast with acupuncturing Baihuiand FengFu points and to provide objective evidence for optimization of clinical acupointsselection for cervical vertigo.Methods: The clinical study of50cases selected were randomly divided intoobservation group and control group which were observed before and after acupuncture byTCD,as shown the changes of BA, bilateral VA, PICA blood flow velocity in the twogroups and the data were statistically analyzed (t test) to observe the differences betweentwo groups.Results: Clinical studies have shown,for VA high velocity type of the observationgroup,there is significant difference before and after the treatment within the groups（P＜0.05).For PICA low velocity type of the observation group,there is highly significantdifference before and after the treatment within the groups（P＜0.01).The results indicatethat it can improve the blood flow of the high velocity of VA and PICA low velocity typeby both acupuncting the YiNao Formula and Xuanzhong acupoints.Comparing thedifference between two groups, observation group has a better tendency on improving theblood flow of VA high velocity type,PICA low velocity type than control group.Conclusion: Acupuncturing YiNao Formula and Xuanzhong acupoints has asignificant improvement in patients with cervical vertigo vertebral-basilar arteryhemodynamics and has a better tendency than simply using YiNao Formula, which provides an objective basis for clinical use of YiNao Formula.
