Objective: This study is to observe the influence on the vertebral-basilar artery hemodynamicsaccording to TCD by acupuncturing Baihui FengFu(YiNao Formula) and double HouXi acupoints inpatients with cervical vertigo,by contrast with acupuncturing Baihui and FengFu acupoints and toprovide objective evidence for optimization of clinical acupoints selection for cervical vertigo. Methods: The clinical study of48cases selected were randomly divided into observation groupand control group which were observed before and after acupuncture by TCD,as shown the changes ofBA, bilateral VA, PICA blood flow velocity in the two groups and the data were statistically analyzed (ttest) to observe the differences between two groups. Results: Clinical studies have shown that for BA high velocity type,VA high velocity type, PICAlow velocity type of the observation group, there is a highly significant difference before and after thetreatment within the group(sP<0.01).The results indicate that observation group can improve the bloodflow of BA high velocity type,VA high velocity type, PICA low velocity type by acupuncturing YiNaoFormula and Houxi acupoints. Comparing the difference between two groups, observation group has abetter tendency on improving the blood flow of BA high velocity type,VA high velocity type thancontrol group. Conclusion: Acupuncturing YiNao Formula and Houxi acupoints has a significant improvementon vertebrobasilar artery hemodynamics in patients with cervical vertigo and has a better tendency thansimply using YiNao Formula, which provides an objective basis for clinical use of YiNao Formula. |
