| Objective Acute gouty arthritis were increased, local manifestations of acute inflammatoryresponse, namely red, swollen, heat, pain, dysfunction, and matrix metalloproteinases aredissolved the extracellular matrix of a proteolytic enzyme, involved in inflammation, boneand joint destruction, tumor infiltration to transfer. The Fire Acupuncture treatment of acutegouty arthritis clinical observation, quick effect, no side effect and other advantages, but itstherapeutic mechanism is not so clear, through this experiment, multi-angle observation ontreatment of acute gouty arthritis in rats, to further explore the mechanism of The FireAcupuncture treatment.Methods Tirty-six male Wistar rats were divided into four groups randomly: the normalcontrol group, the model group, the fire-acupuncture therapy group, the colchicin therapygroup.Rats were observed before and after treatment of the joint circumference, the change ofpathology articular cartilage and synovial membrane in the four groups, expressions ofMatrix metalloproteinase-3of content in articular homogenate was investigated by ELISA..Results The experiments show that using the improved Coderre method is success, modelgroup, before and after modeling more differences（P＜0.05）,Compared with a model group,fire needle therapy group, colchicin therapy group the joint circumference of treatment atanterior-posterior, MMP-3levels singnificantly reduced（P＜0.05）.Compared with a modelgroup, rats therapy with fire needle and colchicin, the synovial inflammatory reaction to berelieved, inflammatory to be obsorbed, the degree of hyperemia and oedema in synovialorganization to lighten, hypoweight fibroblast appearance.Conclusion The joint swelling degree of metatarsophalangeal joints with the acute goutyarthritis of rat is significantly reduced by the fire-acupuncture therapy,to restrain MMP-3ofthe synovial membrane and articular cartilage,to reduce the inflammatory cells, to amelioratearthrosynovitis of the acute gouty arthritis rat. |
