Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis Of Lower Limbs With Round Sharp Acupuncture

ObjectiveAcute lower extremity gouty arthritis is the most common type of gouty arthritis.At present,it is generally believed that in the inflammatory phase of acute gout attack,hyaluronic acid treatment should be avoided,and anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs are often used to relieve pain.However,long-term use of analgesics is prone to side effects such as digestive tract diseases,liver and kidney damage.And pain for people is a feeling that can not be ignored.It has adverse effects on people's daily life,daily activities and mental health.The purpose of this study is to find a more feasible,rapid and efficient treatment for this disease,with ideal analgesic effect and green,non-toxic treatment.Method60 patients in the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion were selected according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria for acute gouty arthritis of the lower extremities of dampness-heat blockage type.They were divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with round round sharp acupuncture,while the control group was treated with filiform needle.Three times a week for two weeks.The levels of serum uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,arthritis syndrome score(joint pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling,joint activity)and clinical efficacy were used as observation indexes.The changes of each observation index level before and after treatment were compared and analyzed between the two groups.ResultsSixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were treated according to the course of treatment without loss of follow-up.Statistical analysis showed that there were no significant differences in gender,age,course of disease,arthritis syndrome score,serum uric acid,erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein between the two groups before admission(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the levels of serum uric acid in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum uric acid in the treatment group were similar to those in the control group,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the differences of serum uric acid levels before and after treatment(P>0.05).It shows that the two groups have the same effect in lowering the level of serum uric acid.After treatment,the levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of ESR and CRP in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The differences of ESR and CRP levels before and after treatment were significant(P<0.05).There was statistical significance(P<0.05).It shows that the effect of treatment group in improving ESR and C-reactive protein level is due to the control group.After treatment,the scores of joint pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling,joint activity and arthritis syndrome in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of joint pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling,joint activity and arthritis syndrome in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).In the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,there were 30 cases in the treatment group,4 cases recovered,21 cases markedly effective,4 cases effective and 1 case ineffective.The total effective rate was 96.67%,which was significantly higher than 86.67%in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups.ConclusionThis study found that the treatment of round sharp acupuncture and routine acupuncture for acute gouty arthritis of lower extremity with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome can achieve certain effect,but compared with conventional acupuncture,the treatment of round sharp acupuncture for acute gouty arthritis of lower extremity with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome can improve erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,joint pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling and Guanguan.The integrals of joint activity and arthritis syndromes have good curative effect.It is concluded that the effect of treating acute gouty arthritis of damp-heat accumulation syndrome by using round sharp acupuncture is definite,and there are no obvious adverse reactions.It provides practical basis for the application of round sharp acupuncture in gouty arthritis,and is beneficial to the popularization and application of Jianli needle.
