Impact Of Fire Needle Puncture On MMP-3and Pathological Tissues Of The Acute Gouty Arthritis Rat Model

Objective To investigate the mechanism of the therapeutic action of fireneedle therapy puncture on the acute gouty arthritis.Methods A ratmodel of the acute gouty arthritis was made by an injected with sodiumurate liquor into the ankle cavity,rats were randomly divided into a blankgroup, a model group, fire needle therapy group,to observe the jointcircumference of treatment at anterior-posterior, to change synovium andarticular cartilage of pathology, detect the content of MMP-3in jointhomogenate of all group.Results The degree of joint swelling wassignificantly reduced by the fire needle therapy,to restrain MMP-3of thesynovial membrane and articular cartilage，to reduce the inflammatorycells. Conclusion fire needle therapy has a the rapectic effect in thetreatment of acute gouty arthritis, and mechanism may be inhibitingsynovium and articular cartilage MMP-3production.
