Study On The Application Of Flower Border In Planting Landscape Of ChangChun Residential Area

According to the concept of flower border to expand and extend, the article summarizes the definition of flower border which applies for the present application situation in our country by reading an extensive academic literature and analyzing the development process and the application status. Flower border is defined as a natural forms of planting Landscape that it simulates the state of various wild flowers’ growth in nature forest edge zone, which mainly contains perennial flowers and shrubs, and mixed to plant in woodland, roadside, wall, sloping and lawn central with the form of natural speckle shape and the refinement of art.The specific methods for this study is that researching12residential samples on the following4regions, Chaoyang district, Nanguan district, Erdao district, Jingyue district in spring, summer and autumn, then evaluating and analyzing the plant materials of flower border and the application of flower border, and combining the basic design principle of flower border and the psychological needs of the residents, discussing the scientific design methods for the application of flower border in Changchun residential area in order to provide theoretical reference for the application of flower border in Changchun and its surrounding residential areas, and to better realize ecological, humanized, sustainable landscape environment of residential district.The main results are as follows:1、 Through researching the flower border plant material of12residential samples in Changchun, the flower border plants statistics indicate98species, relating to46families,75genera at present, which are mainly in the3types, shrubs, perennial (or bulb) and a biennial flower. In practice,the application frequency of flower border plants is more than5residential samples which are only38species, the other61.2%plant species will be developed application in future. So the plant species of the low application frequency should be strengthened breeding and promotion, and new varieties of flower border plant resources should be enlarged to development and introduction, in order to enhance the diversity of flower border plants application in residential areas and embellish the landscape effect of flower border in residential areas.2、 According to comprehensive analysis on Changchun residential area flower border plant material type constitute, ornamental characteristics and implant position, the mixed border that suits the application of Changchun residential area and the conifer border, which reflects local characteristics of northern residential environment are recommended.3、 Through researching the flower border application of12residential samples in Changchun, found that landscape modes and plant types are simple. The application of flower border is less in low-grade residential samples, while in middle and high-grade residential samples landscape modes and plant types are relatively diversified, and the application of flower border is relatively more. However, there are many deficiencies in the overall application:The designers are poor in the knowledge concept and design methods for flower border;The configuration modes and plant species of flower border are used in identical, the lack of their landscape characteristics;The types of flower border plants is simple, the colors of seasonal is dull;The application of flower border landscape can’t meet psychological needs of residents;The maintenance management is insufficient, influencing the flower border landscape effect.4、 Then concrete analyzing and summarizing the application of flower border in Changchun residential area from the different space angle of the following3main green types, the entrance green, the road green and the activity green, hoping for the design of flower border application in Changchun residential area providing theoretical foundation and scientific basis.5、Based on researching the present situation of flower border application for Changchun residential area, studying the basic conditions of Changchun flower border plant materials, then summarizing the existing problems of the border landscape application in Changchun residential area, and analyzing the flower border application in different spaces in classification for the entrance green, the road green and the activity green. According to the relevant theoretical basis of flower border and the local characteristics of Changchun flower border plant materials, summarizing the application principle of flower border plant materials:ecological adaptability principle; the living safety principle; the principle of biodiversity; the principle of regional culture; the dynamic aesthetics principle. Finally, combining the psychological needs of the residents and references of the good landscape modes of flower border application in investigation, discussing the design methods and arrangement26modes of flower border in different green spaces in Changchun residential area.
