Beijing Green Residential Area Current Problems

Since the founding of china, economy and society has undergone enormous changes, Industrialization and urbanization are in the ascendant. According to continuous improvement of living standards, people more focused on the development of physical and mental and emotional satisfaction, rather than the most basic physiological needs such as the food and clothes. People’s health awareness, environmental awareness, aesthetic awareness is growing, so there is corresponding increase in the requirements of the living environment.Green residential area is an important component of urban green space system and the most direct space of habitat environment. The development and change of green residential area is the result of multiple factor including economy, demography policy, technology, ideas and the respond to people’s real needs. In this article, the author elaborates on the basis of real purpose in the perspective of the development of the green residential area. Beijing, as the capital of China, is the political, economic, cultural and transportation center which is in the forefront of the rapid development of urbanization. Especially in recent years, in order to adapt to the increase in population and improve the living environment, Beijing launched a sweeping urban transformation, and has accumulated significant experience in planning and perfecting of the green residential area, but also exposed some of the typical problems, therefore it proposes a important research value. In this paper, the author studies the course of development of the green residential area in Beijing, uses many methods including the literature research, cases studies, field trips, explores the causes and laws of the green residential area development in Beijing, finds the existing problems and tries to find problem-solving strategies and methods to better meet the growing requirements of the living environment of "livability"Paper follows identify problems, analyze problems, problem-solving context, mainly includes the following five aspects:In the first part, I explain the background and significance of the article, propose that creating high-quality living green environment is an important part in the planning and practice of the current residential area in the process of large-scale urbanization. The development of green residential area in Beijing is so typical that have great research value.In the second part, I firstly have to clarify the related concepts of residential areas green, describe that since the founding of China, Beijing green residential area has experienced three stages which are from scratch, and then maturing. And analysis the reasons and powers of the green residential area change in Beijing from the perspective of historical, economic, demographic, policy, science and technology, and design philosophy.In the third part, I objectively analysis the problems of Beijing residential area green and find the reasons that restrict the development of green residential area from the five aspects.Finally, the author against the status quo, the right medicine, the noise pollution inresidential areas from the expressway, the part of the space of a residential area isplanted to a lack of hierarchy, improper design of water features,the lack of roof greening,the lack of userfriendly design,theresidents’sense of protection is weaktheeight aspects of the quality of construction and post maintenance,and residentevaluation sytem is not perfect counter measures and methods can be useful forplanning and improvement of the green areas of future residential areas in Beijing.
