The Planning And Design Research Of Residential Area Waterscape In Beijing

With the development of urban construction and living standard, more and more people have higher requirements of living environment. Constructing waterscapes in residential areas not only improves environmental quality and meets people’s mentality of closing to water, but also brings generous economic, social and ecological benefits. However, at present, there still are many problems on design and construction of waterscapes in residential areas of Beijing. Aiming at this phenomenon, in this paper, we make investigation and analysis with 24 residential districts in Beijing to comprehensively study the waterscapes in Beijing. The contents consist of three parts:Posing problems in the first part. And in this part, we describe the research background of waterscapes in our country, the purpose and significance of the research, and the present research status at home and abroad, constructing frame structure for our paper.Analyzing problems in the second part. In this part, we analyzed and reviewed the development course of waterscapes in residential areas in china and abroad, and introduced briefly the conception, characteristics, types and distribution form of waterscapes in residential areas. Here we investigated the situation of water resource, rivers and lakes, and water distribution. We choose 24 residential districts in Beijing with different sizes, areas and times to research the form of waterscape, the commence of facilities and its operation, and water quality. And then we choose 5 representative areas to emphatically survey and analyze. This paper mainly analyzed the relationship between waterscapes and its elements to find the factors that influence the design of waterscapes in residential areas of Beijing and the problems existing in waterscapes.Solving problems in the third part. In view of the problems existing in waterscapes, we came up with relative measures. We pointed out in this paper that the design of waterscapes should insist on people-oriented idea,fully utilize rain water and recycled water, and go the way of ecological design, and solve the problems of winter-waterscapes through multiple ways.
