Recently,the principle of people-oriented is emphasized in landscape.But mostof the residential area landscape design stays on eye-catching,severe lack of culturalcontinuity.This phenomenon has strong reflection.In order to meet people’s emotionalexpression of residential design,Expressing the humanistic value of residential area landscapedesign should use Chinese flavor.As a result,Neo-Chinese Style landscape springs up andIncreasies popular.Its unique space lasting appeal and revealing cultural essence receivesmoreattention.In this situation,this article tries to explore Beijing’s Neo-Chinese stylelandscape application in landscape design of residential area and tries to enrich Neo-ChineseStyle residential area landscape design theory.This article combining with the feature of Beijing area,explores Beijing’s Neo-ChineseStyle landscape’s situation and characteristics application in landscape design of residentialarea and its target,principle,tact,factor combinations and ect at the design level.This article builds the frame structures of Neo-Chinese Style landscape application inlandscape design of residential area.It puts forward current situation and characteristics oftraditional space processing means,traditional colour application,traditional symbol,plantlandscape space construction application in landscape design of residential area.Based onthese,the article discusses how to refine and express the style of Neo-Chinese Style residentialarea in Beijing,researches the design strategies of landscape plant,water,hard landscape,culturalintegration.At last,it puts forward that combinational design key points of garden factorsare:harmony and unity of garden factors and housing construction,factors design supplementeach other,regionalism of combined landscaping.
