Research&Applications Of Architectural Prototype For The Example Of The Courtyard

With the acceleration of globalization, the competition is becoming increasinglyfierce, fast production and reproduction become the most efficient way to chaseeconomic interests, at the same time, a lot of problems began to emerge, for example,the design is only on the table and not the essence or the design quality is coarse, whichhave seriously affected on the quality of the city space. In addition, China has a longhistory of several thousand years, architectural heritage is very rich, with thisbackground, how to inherit the essence, how can we carry on the re-interpretation, alsobecome a problem in front of each designer. Facing more and more copycat foreignstyles of architectures and cities, we urgently need to find some methods to solve theseproblems. For the above purpose, this article hopes to seek some ideas and methodsfrom the perspective of the prototype.Beginning with the Plato’s philosophy theory, the prototype theory has already hasa history of over thousand years. After the development of anthropology, psychologyand literature and so on, prototype theory has been used in many disciplines andoccupied a very important position. But in the field of architecture development,prototype theory is not systematic and it doesn’t have a fixed concept, for theunderstanding of the architectural prototype is diverse. Therefore this article hopes tobuild the concept, theory and research of architectural prototype on the basis of theexisting prototypes.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter begins with some problems of the architecture design and citydesign, on the basis of which clears the topic, and carry out a detailed analysis on thesubject object and the research status at home and abroad. And then, I introduces theresearch content, the purpose and significance, finally puts forward the researchmethods and framework;The second chapter of this paper studies and elaborates the involved theory andconstructs the architectural prototype theory and elaborates the operation of prototype indetail;The third chapter of this paper builds the concept of the architectural prototype.First is to determine the content and methods of the architectural prototype research, and then carry on the construction of research method separately from two aspects ofthe static and dynamic of architectural prototype research;The fourth chapter of the paper elaborates the applications of the architecturalprototype which is mainly used in these three aspects, the prototype of dialecticalthinking, the prototype of architectural creation as well as the prototype of architecturalcriticism;The fifth chapter of the paper details the architectural prototype method with theexample of the courtyards;The sixth chapter of the paper researches the application of the architecturalprototype method with the example of the courtyards;The seventh chapters of the paper summarizes of the research. Puts forward theconclusion and points out the deficiency of this research, as well as discussed onsubsequent possible directions of the research.
