Integration Of IE And VE: The Comparison Research Of Continuous Improving Methods

In the 21st century, "China-the world's manufacturing factory" has become a hot topic of the world, Chinese and foreign scholars have given a high degree of attention to China's manufacturing. China's manufacturing industry has become an important part of international specialization of labor, while it is undeniable that it is still in the low-end of the global value chain. Throughout the developed countries'development path that regarding industrialization as the core, holding IE as the support technology to improve manufacturing benefit and enhance competitiveness and deeming VE ideas to reduce costs and enhance the value conservation of the investment, the paper attempts to analyze advanced management technology-IE and VE from the perspective of basic science. Under the guidance of Chinese traditional Hehe philosophy, explore a road to China IE by the form of the organic integration of the two, making the IE theoretical basis of new meaning.The paper is divided into five parts:Chapter I is an introduction. It will make a statement of research meaning, methods and framework in this paper.The second chapter reviews the theory research status quo, including the main research areas of Industrial Engineering and Value Engineering and the reference from Hehe innovative thinking way.Chapter III is a comparison study of IE and VE. Followed the sequence of the target, concept, scope and methods, it conducts comparative analysis on two subjects'generating background, philosophical reflection, and means.Chapter IV describes the construction of "IE+VE" creative consciousness system. It demonstrates "IE+VE" on the application scope, system framework, implement principles and the tool kit, respectively.The last chapter analyzes obstacles in the implementation of "IE+VE" in China, and puts forward the solving recommendations.
