Especially when the optical cable broken, it will delay time and make economic losses if we can't orient the point of trouble exactly.Basing on these reasons, we will design a system named Optical Cable Management System based on GIS. This system takes GIS(electronic map)as platform, and realizes the management of optical cable and mass data scientifically. And it'll make the change of optical cable information more conveniently and find fault more true.The system adopts modularization programmer method. We split the whole system to data layer, control layer and function layer. This method makes design more easier, finding fault more quickly.
