Design And Implementation Of Mobile Monitoring System Based On ARM9

With the development of wireless technology, the application of wireless transmission technology is more and more accepted by all walks of life.Wireless monitoring as a special means is gradually favored by many users. The installation is convenient, flexible, cost-effective higher characteristic, more and more industries' monitoring system use wireless monitoring mode, build communication between monitoring points and monitoring center. Wireless monitoring technology has been widly applied in modern community, traffic, transportation, water conservancy, shipping, public security, fire and other fields.With the mobile users increament and mobile phone abilities'extension by users,it is a popular that mobile phone is used for mobile video monitoring system's terminal based on traditional video monitoring system.This is the paper's innovation point.Based on the embedded technology and Streaming media and GPRS technology become more sophisticated,the three technology were used in order to build a mobile phone terminal for wireless mobile video monitoring system in this paper. GPRS module SIM100-E of SIMCOM company and S3C2440motherboard based on ARM9processor were used in the System.The system transmit on-site monitoring image to the user's mobile phone terminal through GPRS network as to realize remote wireless mobile monitoring purpose.Because of the widly coverage of mobile communication network,users can use mobile phone as a terminal of video surveillance system to browse the monitoring site status at any time and any place.The paper firstly analyzes the monitoring system in the domestic and foreign research and development of current situation and put forward to a monitoring system using the mobile pone as a video monitoring terminal,then introduces the theory of embedded system and embedded system structure,and then introduce the GPRS technology and streaming media technology which describes the principle of GPRS communication and the principle of streaming media communication.The paper describes hardware and software design of the system,and complete the whole system designing and implementation by use of the three technologies.
