At present, more and more industrial fields, especially for some remote, distributed, unattended industrial fields, users require real-time acquisition of operation status on device. And may need to send control commands to the monitored objects according to the data processing results. However, the traditional remote monitoring system based on wire network or short distance wireless network the build process is complex, the cost of infrastructure, expand the function of the system is difficult, and the function expansion will seriously affect the real-time and reliability of the system, system performance will be decreased obviously. So this paper puts forward the design and implementation of a remote monitoring system which utilizes GPRS network as the communication medium to solve the above problems. Based on the GPRS network signal is widely distributed, the system has the advantages of low cost, simple structure, easy expansion of the system, and the monitored objects can be dispersed and the characteristics of the remote communication'll be more reliable etc..Firstly, viewing GPRS signal as the communication infrastructure to organize network. Wireless GPRS network can reduce the system cost, expand coverage, the system expansion is very convenient. Secondly, select STM32 and SIM900 A as the main module of remote wireless access terminal. STM32 is a new type of embedded processor, internal storage space is large, rich peripherals, as part of the main control remote wireless access terminal. SIM900 A is the drive part of remote wireless access terminal, under the drive of STM32 and realizes GPRS network connection. Thirdly, the software development is based on C language. Software development and debugging is realized based on KEIL MDK 4.72 A + ANSI C platform, the combination mode of KEIL and C language is a typical platform development environment in embedded system. Through encapsulating the driver into task functions and with ?C/OS-II's management between tasks to achieve the design of application.According to the above contents, this paper firstly presents the frame model of this system, and then perfectly design the hardware circuit according to the function demand, finally summary the realization process of the modular C language and ?C/OS-II software. And at the end of the thesis analyse the issue should be improved and direction of system technology can be extended.
