Our country is the largest coal producer and consumer in the world, and coal resources is an important foundation for long-term and stable development of Chinese national economic resources. Because of the huge demand of extraction, everyday, hundreds of thousands of miners working in the mines, it must be communication needs between underground and ground. Because of the particular and complex environment of mine communication, the requirements of the communication system is different from the normal ground-based communications, the security, the stability and the reliability of the communication system has its own special requirements.At present, a variety of communication methods have been adopted to achieve the communication in the mine, but different ways have different flaws in its technology and design which can not be solved entirely satisfactory, especially in the huge demand of business information, it is so important to maintain communication between underground personnel, equipment and the ground real-time effective, but nowdays the existing technology has been unable to adapt to the rapid growth of this kind of information needs, In this background, it is particularly necessary to explor and select a new communication and networking technology. Optical fiber communication has its strong superiority in the communication capacity, communication speed, communication distance, network security, operation, maintenance, network upgrades are indicative, especially in the technology background of the great era of the "three nets fusion", it has drawn increasing attentions and researches.Under this background, a new development trend of optical fiber communication in the construction of high-speed network-all-optical network has been analysed and studied in this article, in addition, has demonstrated the feasibility of the use of its underground communications, and proposed their own design under making it as the main source of the theory, finally, the design of the network model has been constructed by simulation tool, and verified the performance of the design, the possibility of implementation in theory through the analysis of simulation results.
