Research On Control System For Pantyhose Packaging Machine

The industrialized great production needs packaging machines of high levels in precision and automation. At present, a great many high and new technologies have been used in the packaging machinery industry. That makes packaging machines and the production lines more automatic, makes the results of operation better and more reliable, and makes the packaging quality higher. In such a context, packaging pantyhoses by hands is unable to meet the new requirements. It is needed to develop a new control system of automation, high measuring accuracy and low price.Programmable logic controller (PLC) which is used as the core device of control system, is powerful, stable and reliable. It has been widely used in modern industrial automation production, and has obtained ideal effect. Thus, this paper presents a novel control system of pantyhose packing machine based on PLC.This paper, taking the control system of pantyhose packing machine as the background, integrating theory with practice, describes the application of advanced control technologies, which combine the PLC technology, the frequency conversion technology and the communication technology, in this control system of pantyhose packing machine.This paper summarizes the history and present status of packaging machinery, and the characteristics of programmable control technology and the possibility and prospect of applying it in packaging machinery; by analyzing the process features, presents the main control system design, including hardware design and software design, selects main components of the control system; designs electrical system; designs ladder diagram with CX-Programmer; designs monitoring interface by using Visual Basic, and achieves upper and lower computer communication through RS232C.The pantyhose packing machine has been used in factory. This machine coordinates the actions of the devices by PLC, the upper computer provides interface. It can package pantyhoses of different lengths, and it has good versatility, reliable structure, operation convenience, high degree of automation. It improves packaging speed and quality, and has significance to promote the development of packaging machinery in China.
