With the rapid development of internet, People's way of life has been greatly changed. Mankind has entered a new socialformation, that is, Network society. In the background of the development of internet, we make the college students object, and describe the present situation of universicy students internet political participation. This reaserch is in the perspective of sociology and communication. There are four major theoretical: uses and gratifications theory, media literacy theory, public sphere theory, political participation theory. research method is the combined of literature research and questionnaire survey.Combined with the definition of political participation and the characteristics of internet, We can summarize the universicy students internet political participation is :Students access to the political information and express political will and tried to influence the political participation in the network, including consciousness and behaviour.This research mainly reviewed: university sudents internet use of the basic pattern, consciousness of university sudents internet political participation, behaviour of university sudents internet political participation, the factors to impact on the university sudents internet political participation, the relationship between online political participation and political participation. We use SPSS software to analyse the data results. Conclusion follows: To university students concerned, the known rate of internet hotspot event is higher; the attitude towards internet political participation is active; the sense of political efficacy is low, the motive of internet Political participation is complex; Most students would like to concern about current events through the network, and they choose "Network poll / vote", "keep abreast of news" "micro-blog" as the platform for political participation, but the actual expression is seldom; political status, grade, net age, the sense of political efficacy have inpact on university students political participation; Students online and offline political participation is associated, the time which spend on focus on the network current events and the participation times of poll the network / network votes on the line will have a positive positive impact.From the situation of internet political participation, we hope to make reasonable suggestions from the perspective of in network literacy.
