The Application Of 3D Technology On Urban Planning

The city is an important rendezvous of human life, and is the main place of human civilization achievements emergence, spread and the development. Today, with digital information era coming, the city's status is more outstanding, and its function is more apparent. Realizing city informatization is the necessary condition of a city entering into globalization. With the theory of digital city's constant improvement, in the process of constructing digital city, the application of 3D technology has become a hotspot in current researches. Therefore, how to make 3D technology play a role and achieve realistic construction by 3D technology of a virtual city provides strong scientific support for the further development of city planning.Based on the principle of 3D technology system development, this paper combines the construction demand of Jilin Province Library through an overall design for digital library 3D landscape system and corresponding software and hardware configuration, and at last constructs and design the 3D geographical spatial database. From the standpoint of three-dimensional topography and three-dimensional city model, this paper discusses the construction method of jilin province to the digital library 3D scene model for the application of technology of 3D animation under the principle of urbanization construction. In order to does not affect the operation of the system, better reflecting the characteristics of changchun city of jilin province and city appearance, this paper constructs the jilin province with digital library characteristic landmark buildings based on CAD, and applies the thought of GIS modelling method based on two-dimensional for ordinary buildings, and it can solve the contradictions between authenticity and real-time effectively. Though the research of digital library construction in jilin province city planning in the development ideas and 3D animation technology application, this paper expounds the relationship between urban planning and three dimensional animation technology, analyzes 3D animation physical modeling, the material editor, motion control, rendering shading, the basic process of synthetic sequence and 3D animation software system, describes the 3D animation techniques modeling, animation, graphics and coloring output application principle. The construction of jilin digital library 3D landscape system provides platform supports for the application of 3D technology from all walks of life, it can provide people with the relevant city realistic scene of information omni-directional, intuitively. Through the digital management, it provides intuitive information service for urban planning, construction and operation management, security management and decision support, and improves the urban spatial information sharing and use level greatly.
