3G HSDPA Wireless Network Planning For Alashan League Scheme Research

The recombination of telecommunications operators signals the construction of3G wireless network. The technical characteristics of the3G network make its planning containing some new features and requirements that are different from those of2G network. A network planning is so crucial to the com(?)tion of the network in that the planning will directly influence the operation quality of the network and the return from the investment. Therefore, it is necessary to make an integrated planning based on the considerations of the collaborative planning between2G network and3G network, the continuous optimization of the network in order to establish an excellent3G network.The Alashan League, with a total area of272,000square kilometers, locates at the western tip of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China. There are only198,000inhabitants and the low population density thereof is a national rare. Within the region, two thirds of the area is Gobi and desert while the population is concentrated in three banners (counties). Based on the special situation of the population and geography of Alashan, it is of necessity to make a scientific prediction of the3G business development and put forward a reasonable planning for the3G wireless network and a scheme for the establishment of the network in low-cost for the purpose of laying foundations for the investment and the development of 3G wireless network in the Alashan League. The thesis consists of seven chapters, including a general introduction to the population and geography of the Alashan League, the prediction of the3G business, the elaboration of planning principles for the network, and a scheme for the3G network planning in the League.The first chapter is the introduction, briefly discusses the research background of this paper, the characteristics of3G,3G HSDPA wireless network planning characteristic as well as in3G HSDPA wireless network planning research significance; the second chapter is an overview of the whole region of Inner Mongolia area, introduces the overview, Alashan profiles as well as in mobile business development status, for the following research prepare; third chapter is the3G HSDPA wireless network planning, the main analysis of3G HSDPA wireless network planning principles and objectives; fourth chapter is the3G HSDPA wireless network planning and business forecasting, undertook thorough analysis, research; the fifth chapter is in3G wireless network planning and specific solutions and results, in detail research; sixth chapter is the investment estimation, give in3G wireless network planning scheme to provide reference.
