Beer production is one of Chinese traditional industry, after Chinese economic reform,our national economy and average income increase continuously and rapidly and Chinese beer industry develop so fast that become a important part of national economic construction. But there are many faultiness aspects in our beer industry. Because of beer production technology is very complex and its process automation is faultiness, the quality of beer is instability. Therefore how to improve automatic control level of beer production has important practical significance.On the basis of analysis on technological process and control requirements of beer fermentation, this thesis applied Smilulink toolbox of MATLAB,aiming at the system characteristics (long delay time and time variant) of temperature control in fermentation process, simulated and research many control methods, by the analysis the simulated results, improved some control methods.Following is main contribution of this thesis:A.Summarized the process flows of beer production and introduce the process engineering of beer fermentation detailedly. Analyzed the system characteristics, theoretical research the system of long delay time and time variant and analyzed the control difficult points on the system.B.Summarized the fundamental theory of traditional PID control system, analyzed the principles,control block diagrams and control distinguishing features of four kinds common control methods.Aiming at the long delay time system, theoretical research many control system and analyzed the principles,system block diagrams,control distinguishing features and control performance.C.Summarized the definition,peculiarities and framework theory of intelligent control.Analyzed the differences and relations about intelligent control and traditional control, expect to combine the excellences both in intelligent control and traditional control to create new excellent control method. Summarized fundamental theories about many intelligent control methods (hierarchical intelligent controlexpert control system,artificial neuro network,fuzzy control,genetic algorithm,immune algorithm,learning control and chaos control). Because fuzzy control is one important part of this thesis, introduce correlation theories of fuzzy control detailedly.D.On the basis of analysis on theoretical research,applied Smilulink toolbox of MATLAB to design many kinds of control methods and research the simulated results. Aiming at the characteristic of time variant, setting 4 group models,comparative analyzed the excellences and defects in every control methods by the simulated results. Aiming at the defects about fuzzy control, design the improved fuzzy control system, the simulated results of this improved system is better than before.On the basis of simulated results, summarized the characteristics on every methods, explored the combining feasibility both on intelligent control and traditional control.Designed many combining system to simulated, but only PID(transient state)+fuzzy control (steady state) method could accord the control request. These researches provided a new idea on temperature control of beer fermentation temperature control.
