The Design Of Vehicle Monitoring Terminal Based On Mobile Communication Network

This paper introduced the development status and trend of vehicle monitoring system,then proposed a general solution adapted to the requirements of vehicle monitoring system based on mobile network,described the overall structure of vehicle monitoring system and the function of service centers,monitor terminal, discussed the hardware and software implementation process in detail. It pointed out the improvements which the system may need.Vehicle monitoring system based on mobile communication network consists of vehicle monitoring terminal, service center and wireless transmission network, it through interactive communication, use active and passive protection to insure the safety of vehicles and driver. Terminal is responsible for monitoring information collection and real-time uploading; service center is responsible for receiving, analysis, display monitoring information; transmission network using GPRS to connect the Internet with fixed IP. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of the vehicle monitoring terminal.The terminal includes data processing module, wireless transmission module, vehicle location information acquisition module and image acquisition module, using GPRS, JPEG technology and global positioning technology, through the intelligent processing and analysis methods to achieve mobile-network-based vehicle monitoring, provide a effective vehicle security program. After several tests, the performance of the vehicle monitoring system has reached the application requirements, and Also has good scalability.
