Based On Gps / Gsm / Gprs Vehicle Location And Monitoring The Research And Design Of The Terminal

Intelligence Transportation System is mainstream in the international transportation during the course of 21 century. With the fast development of computer network, information techniques,digital communications network, and the prevalence of Global Positioning System in recent years,a new kind of product , Vehicles Managing Navigation System,appears. The main characteristics of the system is that it combined with several technologies such as GPS, digital communications, computer network and geographical information system,and positioning the target vehicle fastly and accuratly. The main target customers of the system service operator are campanies which use the upscale business car, special working vehicles,users who have private cars.They can provide individual service such as navigation, position, guard against theft, help through telephones etc..This paper discusses the Vehicles Managing Navigation System of GSM/GSPRS/GPS based on ARM ,taking ARM as the car of central microprocessor in vehicle monitoring terminal and using long range supervision center as comprehensive system resolvement .The vehicle monitoring terminal positons the vehicles through GPS module, delivering the position, appearance information to the long range supervising and controlling center through GPRS/GSM module controlled by microprocessor,and sending out the controlling information analised after combine the GIS information the system.Center assistant can provide the personal speech service for car owners.Firstly, this paper introduces the positioning principle and communication methods are put forward. Secondly,the principle of GSM and GPRS is discussed.Afterwards, this paper describes the analysis and design of the system hardware and software. At last,this paper details and emphasizes the implementation method of GPS/GSM/GPRS monitoring system for vehicle,and also introduces installing the analyzing procedure under the WindousXP environment, testing the terminal function ,and describing the whole process that vehicles managing navigation system works, especially speech service process.
