Warehousing is the core in the whole supply chain, it is responsible for connecting the link between products and consumers, it is also an important part of logistics. At present, most warehousing management systems of logistics companies are based on bar code technology to achieve cargo warehousing management. But the vulnerability of bar code labels, short reading scan distance and small warehousing capacity are the serious shortcomings which can constrain the process of warehousing efficiency. With the development and application of RFID technology, to a certain extent, overcome the defects of bar code technology, this paper have designed and implemented warehousing management information system base on RFID technology.At first, analysis of RFID application status at domestic and abroad, quoted the key knowledge what developed this system depended on, include theory of RFID technology, RFID middleware theory and warehousing optimization theory.Next, use the technology and method of software engineering to analysis requirement of system and design UML model, defined the system to achieve functions.Then, base on the requirement to design the whole system overall and details, completed the architecture design, function design and process design, focus include designed data collection base on light RFID middleware and storage optimization base on genetic algorithm, in the detailed design, according to the idea of object-oriented to design class and class relationships for every function.At last, coded to implement functions of warehousing management information system, including data collection, storage optimization, basic information, order management function, business operations, distribution management, query statistics function, reports analysis function, system maintenance, the function of data collection which also includes equipment management, label management, and data management capabilities.
