Space technology is an important component of national defense, and space institutions are the important bearing units for the R&D of space technology. The R&D capabilities are more an more important on the national defense. With the rapid development of information technology and gradually rapid process for the strategy of informatization promoting industrialization, it's an inevitable trend to use informatization to promote the continuous innovation of space institutions's R&D capabilities. In another word, the informatization level of space institutions is a reflection of its R&D capabilities. Therefore, building the informatization maturity evaluation system of space institutions to enhance R&D capabilities has important significance, for clarifying the R&D direction and understanding the R&D capabilities of space institutionsIn this paper, the ultimate goal is to enhance the space institutions's R&D capabilities. The informatization maturity evaluation system of space institutions is analyzed and researched.First of all, based on the literature reading, the basic knowledge is systematically analyzed. The R&D characteristics and the development law of the space institutions, and then the impact factors of informatization maturity are analyzed. Secondly, based on the impact factors, the specific target factors are determined, and the informatization maturity evaluation system of space institutions to enhance R&D capabilities is built. At the same time, specific computation is carried on for using network-level theory. Again, based on real data collected, the actual calculations are carried on the informatization maturity level for two space institutions, and the results are analyzed; Finally, based on three impact factors of informatization maturity evaluation system of space institutions, the methods and means are proposed to improve informatization maturity and R&D capabilities of space institutions.The informatization maturity evaluation system of space institutions to enhance R&D capabilities is researched in this paper. On the one hand, guidance and effective macro-diagnosis is provided for informatization of space institutions; the other hand, it can assess the extent of informatization to support R&D capabilities.
