With the development of the process of enterprise information, companies have chosen information to upgrade them. The goal of information is to improve efficiency and enable enterprises get massive benefit. Currently business application software is used more and more, the depth and breadth of information integration have also changed, from initial information integration to today's process integration, to further requests the inter-enterprise integration. It puts forward advanced requirements for the current rapid development of electrical design and automation. With the rapid development of electrical design software, designed to accelerate the speed of the enterprise, designed to improve the quality of the enterprise. The design process a large amount of product structure (assembly and parts of the relationship) and electronic documents, it's only a simple majority of corporate management, and import them when needed to maintain design system, the design after its export archive, this management approach led to the design cycle is long, inefficient, affecting product development progress.Product Data Management (PDM) is one of major technologies used for managing the product information (including the parts information, Product Configuration, Drawing, Document, BOM, User right etc.) and the relevant procedure of product (including processing define and management). It provides the static storage management and dynamic procedure management for the product data of enterprises. Design is the upstream production, the product data is the origin of enterprises, enterprises goal is to manage effectively and use the information reasonably. Therefore, it is very important for integration between electrical design software and PDM. So application integration can enhance the production efficiency. Design and management together is to build a more complicated electrical design platform.EB is the electrical design system which is based on object-oriented. This paper base on the electrical design software EB (Engineering Base) system integration platform, selected the enterprise mainstream WindChill-PDM software for the integration object. It achieves the integration between the electrical design and PDM.The main work of the thesis is as follows:1,The theory of integration of EB and PDM is studied and according to the mainstream EB soft and their develop tools, the system frame of integration is designed for PDM. To enable loosely coupled, with good scalability.2,EB system and PDM system are different in data formats. So the data exchange between the two systems is the most important problem to be solved in their data sharing and application integration. For this reason, the methods of data exchange and sharing are the emphasis of research in this thesis. The data which is shared in integrated system is analyzed. It obtains data from the PDM by database technology. The data is written to the EB. It reads the information of the product structure and drawings. The information is written to CSV files. The CSV files are uploaded to the server. The product structure is built in the PDM. It is achieved the drawings countersigned through plug-in. In addition, this paper studied FTP protocol to transfer documents.3,It introduces the concrete realization of integration between the EB system and PDM system. Introduces the development example about the integration, it also provides a reference for the integration between EB and PDM.
