Research And Practice On Integration Technology Of PDM And ERP

The age of information has come,if modern manufacturing industry want to remain unconquerable,they must strengthen infomationization of enterprise.Product Data Management (PDM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) came into being; They are playing a significant role in the current informationize construction of enterprise. With the development of them, there would be problems when systems maintain the same data, data appear to be different, and information from the two systems are unable to communicate and share.These programs hold on the development of the enterprise informationization. The research on the integration between PDM and ERP not only can reduce the generative cycle of productions effectively,but also can accelerate transforming processes of productions from the field of designing to the one of manufacturing. And as the main informaton of the integration between PDM and ERP,BOM is the important composing and the syncretic point of two great information flats,and it is the central and pivotal contents of information integration between the two systems.BOM has the important sense to eliminate the "information acnode" existing in them.Make research deep into the integration of PDM and ERP based on the theory of integration in existence,and give a way of information integration.This paper focuses on the researching on the intergration of PDM and ERP,firstly introduced the consept of PDM and ERP,analyzed similarities and differences of them.Some usual ways of intergration of PDM and ERP has been researched. In addition, elaborating the application of material code in the integration of PDM and ERP, emphatically stating the function, meaning, principle, method and procedure of material code,and give the example; and researching the application of BOM in the integration of PDM and ERP, describing the basic theories of BOM, analyzing the difference and connection of EBOM and MBOM, primarily studying on the transformation model and transformation method of the transformation from EBOM to MBOM; at last combining the theory of prior research and the practice of Xiangfan certain pump industry, to develop the integration system of Solidworks Enterprise PDM and K3 EPR using the C# and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 based on the net platform, which mainly consists of the four functional modules: Material Management, EBOM Generation, Transformation from EBOM to MBOM and BOM Leading-in/Leading-out. The integrated system achieves to exchange and share the information between the EPDM and K3,and it accelerates the pace of enterprise informationization,provides a valuable experience for other enterprises.
