The Pdm-based Project Management Integration Technologies

With the further research and application of Project Management (PM) technology, extending function of PM in Product Data Management System has become an important part of enterprise information in manufacturing industry during the process of product development. The technology of integration in PM/PDM is studied with emphasis to extend the function of PM, which will give a new idea of PM in Manufacture. Several aspects are studied in the paper.First, structures and functions of PM/PDM are analyzed to build a framework of integration system.Then three interfaces of PDM/PM are lucubrated which are interface of project-document integration, project-resource integration and process integration. The scheme based on the Component Object Model is put forward.Finally, The integration of MsProject2000 based on Smarteam is practiced to verify three aspects upward at the end of the paper. It proved to be feasible and valid.
