| In the press line manufactory, the blanks are transferred normally by manual operator. As the press machine is so powerful and the blank is so heavy, that this kind of operation becomes one of the most dangerous work in the world. Many people have been injured. From the beginning of 20th century, some famous automation companies in Europe have started the press automation research. They tried to use robots to replace the people's work. The press automation technology is now widely used in automobile manufactory plant and sub-supplier plant as well. Further more, due to the rapid increasing requirements of the vehicle market in China, every manufacturer is trying to improve the producing efficiency, which make the automation supplier has to find the solutions for that. This article will tell the press automation technology and analyze the bottle-neck of the press linking line. A process optimization will be used to improve the production output. Then by the analysis of industrial vision systems, I will reveal the technical details of the vision centering system and show the detailed realization by a case. |
