Soil and water are scarce resources of human survival. Soil-water conservation has become one of the world's most important regional environmental problems. Carrying out the water-soil conservation monitoring, has an important role in controlling the dynamic change of soil erosion, analyzing the impact on the national economic development and social impact of environmental benefits, and then the integrated control and effectiveness assessment of soil and water conservation.Automated Monitoring Information System on Soil-Water Conservation (AMIS) is a comprehensive integrated information system applied to the soil and water conservation station. Based on certain hardware and software environment, this system mainly complete the operation and management of automatic monitoring equipment, automated data collection and storage, data processing and outputting, remote data transmission and other functions. Automated Monitoring Information System can enhance the level of automation and information, and ensure the reliability, validity and accuracy of the monitoring data, and obtain long time series of monitoring data, and improve the utilization of monitoring data.Firstly, this paper introduced the background and development status of soil and water conservation monitoring. And then introduced by the numbers the basic situation of soil-water conservation stations, including the overall structure of automated monitoring stations, automatic monitoring technology, and typical automated monitoring equipment. And then analyzed the system requirements form the business process of the Automated Monitoring Information System, and on this basis come up with the function of the system by a detailed description and function modules, analysis and detailed design for the system's four key function modules, automatic data acquisition, data processing and output, remote data upload and device status monitoring. Finally, achieve automatic monitoring of soil and water conservation information systems at Microsoft .NET Framework platform.
