The actual scope of application of wireless sensor networks become increasingly widespread under the background of the continue development of the sensor, wireless communication and distributed information processing technology. It catches more and more attention. The necessary routing protocol has become a hot research spot. The different applications of wireless sensor networks have different performance requirements. The wireless sensor networks works normally with suitable routing protocols. Routing protocol assumes the task which is the selection of node. That is to say, Routing protocol is able to solve the specific path of data transmission in wireless network. Routing algorithm performance on the overall network lifetime duration, the need for timely data to be transmitted to the viewer, supporting the network expansion on a large number of nodes to work together and so will has a significant impact. So, Routing protocols in wireless sensor networks play a decisive role. The wireless sensor network is resource-constrained including energy, communication bandwidth, storage capacity and so on. With the actual conditions like these, the routing protocol′s objectives are that according to the real and concrete application the network needs to establish the optimal path found not only to achieve the successful completion of the data transmitted, but also in the process of completion of the data transmitted to reduce energy consumption to the greatest extent possible in order to prolong the overall life cycle of the network. The distributed data we needed stays on the network. We back on the routing protocol to help us gather data and send back by traversing the network. Our research work is based on these conditions. In this paper, three routing protocols are raised. Comparison of the performance needs a simulation platform. We can get some important performance data of these three routing protocols through the platform which is developed successfully by us. The data is most powerful evidence to test the performance of routing protocols we raised. The following work is that we deal with these performance data by Mathlab which is quite famous mathematical software. By the figures given by Mathlab, we can draw some conclusions that which protocol can deal better and more suitable for the network of special application. Then our work can make the appropriate theory to guide practice.
