Study On The Evaluation Of Museum Interpretation Based On Visitors' Perception

Museum Tourism occupies an increasingly important position in Cultural Tourism. Museum exhibition and displays involve the complicated professional knowledge, and tourists' requirements for interpretation system are increasing. Currently interpretation system gradually attract Expert's,scholar's,area manager's as well as the operator's attention. Interpretation has the functions of education, guidance, and information and recreation experience. Therefore, it works as a liasion between museum and tourists. However, currently, except Taiwan, China's interpretation system theory and practice are at an early exploratory stage. There is lack of research from the perspective of the audience to assess the effect of museum interpretation. Based on this, the theses evaluate museum interpretation from the angle of visitors' perception.Firstly, based on the review of domestic and foreign literatures on museum's interpretation, this article explains the museum interpretative's effect, assessment methods,assessment standards and empirical studies.Secondly, this paper takes the research in China Musume for Fujian-Taiwan kinship. Questionnaire survey and In-depth interviews are adopted. Statistical analysis ways are descriptive statistics, the mean comparison, independent samples T test, paired samples t test, one-way ANOVA and IPA. This study assesses the effect of museum interpretation from the aspects of knowledge obtainment and emotional experience. This paper analyzes the impact on knowledge obtainment and emotional experience of the demographic variables of tourists and the behavioral characteristics of tourists. And it also discussed the importance and satisfaction of interpretation system based on visitors' perception .The paper draws the following conclusions: Vistors give a positive appraise for the Museum's interpretative effect. Interpertation system has achieved great effect in terms of tourist's knowledge-obtained and emotional experience. On the whole, they achieve a high degree of satisfaction.The final part is the conclusion and prospect. Summarizing the study finding of the thesis, this paper attempts to provide some effective measures to improve the museum's interpretation systems and bring forward the prospects for future research.
