Internet Communication And Exchanges Between Fujian And Taiwan,

Peaceful reunification of China is a great task which has not been completed last century, but will be managed to finish within this century. The key to this matter lies in seeking better means and tools to remove the communicative barriers, to widen and deepen the multi-level exchanges between the two sides. Internet is a hi-tech product which has the advantage of free and open interactions, and is an advanced social communicative tool. According to the current circumstances, internet will help promote the communications between the Taiwan Traits, therefore, contribute to the early reunification of our nation.Basing on Fujian province, the author combines the history with the current situation, applies the theories of sociology, the social diffusion and social psychology to the social investigations, works on the Internet Diffusion and Min-Tai communication by comparison and by contrast. In the article the author firstly recalls the history of the communications between the Taiwan traits, and then puts emphasis on the functions and advantages of Fujian province, and the promising future of Min-Tai communication. Then the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the functions of the three social communicative means:"three exchanges", mass communication media and internet in the Min-Tai communication. Through investigations and analyses, the author belives: Internet can not only promote the advancement of the "three exchanges", but also make up the disadvantages of the "three exchanges", open up new channels for Min-Tai communication, widen more free communication room, remove the social interactive barriers, connect more rich group relationships, form pleasant exchange circumastances, deepen the Min-Tai communication, and lay some social, cultural and mass foundation for the peaceful reunification of China.As far as Min-Tai communication is concerned, "internet exchange" can be used as "the fourth exchange", which has the outstanding priority of bridging gaps, removing barriers, promoting communications, improving understandings, providing favorable interactions and common development.
