Education is the primary function of museums,and the museum is also a place for the visitors to free choice learning.As the core of the museum,the exhibition is an important carrier of education function and learning function.Evaluating the exhibition effectiveness bases on how much the intended target information is received by the target visitors.Therefore,improve the transmission efficiency of exhibition information,and make visitors can get more information from the exhibition,is an important goal of the museum exhibition design.The premise of achieving this goal is to fully understand the influence factors of exhibition information transmission efficiency.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence factors of the exhibition information transmission efficiency and to explore the correlation between the influence factors.Both help the exhibition planners and designers to improve exhibition information transmission efficiency,also can help exhibition evaluator to construct a more effective,more practical assessment framework,to evaluate the effectiveness of the exhibition.The research method of this paper is the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research.The interview and the unobstructive tracking observation are used in the data acquisition stage.Based on the personal meaning mapping,the information obtained from the interview is encoded so as to make the basis of quantitative analysis.The integrity of interview information and tracking information is the premise of qualitative analysis.The theoretical framework of this paper is "the Contextual Model of Learning" proposed by Falk and Dierking.The influence factors of museum learning experience are divided by this model into personal context,social-cultural context and physical context.In the variable hypothesis stage of this paper,it provides a comprehensive and systematic basis.Finally,the research results show that the influence factors of exhibition information transmission efficiency can be divided into"personal factors" and "environmental factors" based on different subjects,can be divided into "direct factors","indirect factors" and "fundamental factors" based on the degree of influence.Among them,the "motivation" and "environmental design" are fundamental factors respectively for "personal factors”and "environmental factors ",they respectively work on the visitors' "indirect factors" such as personal context,social-cultural context and physical context.And finally they reflect the degree of interaction between visitor and exhibition,and then directly influences the exhibition information transmission efficiency.This framework inherits the comprehensivenessof description of "the Contextual Model of Learning" and supply the relevant relationships among the factors,providing a useful guidance for the actual assessment work.
