Multi-access residential gateway plays an important role in the Internet of things(IoT) system,at the same time, it not only takes responsibility for the connection between core network and access network of the IoT,but also it is one important way to provide high quality QoS. Because of the deficiency of residential gateway standard protocol and differentiation of residential gateway commercial product development, the interoperability and scalability of different residential gateway products is not good enough. Therefore,the thesis mainly researches the designment and implementation of residential gateway based on the network architecture of IoT. this paper's main work is as follow:1).The access-way of many residential gateway is relatively single,For example,the access-way of some residential gateways is based on Wi-Fi, the access-way of others is based on ZigBee.Moreover,its application is relatively single.From the above,the thesis proposes a multi-aceess scheme.Namely,by designing a protocol management module,it realizes the function of automatic discovery of the lower drive protocol and it could traslate a variety of access protocol into IoT protocol in standard format.At the same time ,it achieves a variety of access ways for residential gateway.2).A multi-access residential gateway standard-compliant with system architecture of IoT is designed and developed, this residential gateway has a function that the IoT can nomally communicates with the terminals of Wi-Fi,ZigBee and Bluetooth.Now,the product is in testing phase and will be put into use later.3).For the problem of routing efficiency of wireless sensor network which is deployed in home network,Global routing optimization algorithm (GROA)is presented in this thesis. The proposed algorithm can prevent the occurrence of network congestion by selecting the different value of the threshold of variable r to get different output-path. Simulation results show that the processing time of this algorithm is only as long as the third of that of Dijkstra algorithm.At the same time, it can not only meet the routing requirements of wireless sensor networks, but also solve the congestion problem of wreless sensor networks.4).According to the demand for business flows of Quality of Service(QoS) in residential gateway,an improved scheduling algorithm(VDPDA) is proposed.The algorithm resolves the problem that low-priority flow can not receive service for a pretty long time when the load of the system is heavy.Namely,it resolves"not fair problem". Under the condition of keeping the QoS of rtPS,Simulation results show that the improved algorithm gives much higher scheduling opportunities to non-real-time Polling Service (nrtPS) traffic flows.And the system bandwidth is utilized effectively.At the same time ,it resolves the"unfair"problem.
